Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day logistics operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.


• Ensure that shipments are prepared, loaded, and delivered in a timely and cost-efficient manner.


• Assign tasks and schedules to ensure smooth flow of logistics operations.


• Monitor performance and provide feedback to staff, conducting regular training and development sessions.


• Ensure that inventory is properly received, managed, and tracked using relevant software.


• Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and delivery notes.


• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and company policies.


• Oversee the onboarding of individual and corporate agents for delivery.


• Work with customers to address delivery queries, delays, or other logistics-related issues.


• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize logistics efficiency and reduce costs.


• Ensure all logistics operations adhere to company safety standards and government regulations.


• Conduct regular safety checks and audits, ensuring proper handling and transportation of goods.


• Address and resolve any compliance issues or concerns related to transportation and storage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.


• Proven experience (3+ years) in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.


• Strong leadership and team management skills.


• Proficiency in logistics software and systems

Additional Information:

• Familiarity with transportation regulations, safety procedures, and customs documentation.
