Job Summary

• The Engineer will be responsible for designing and optimizing the processes that transform raw materials into the durable steel used for various construction. Responsible for identifying and setting up all production equipment in the plant.


• He will also ensure efficiency, safety, and environmental responsibility throughout the manufacturing cycle.

Job Responsibility

• Responsible for identifying and setting up the equipment of the steel plant


• Will be in charge of the production line from raw materials to finished products


• Supervise the activities of other engineers and foremen in the plant


• Carry out maintenance needs on equipment


• Draw up work structure and processes for the efficient running of the plant.


• Actively involved in manpower planning and recruitment of much needed plant workers.


• Report plant activities to the executive management, including production, maintenance, downtime, materials etc


• Carry out other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering


• Minimum 5+ years of technical experience in a similar field.


• Experience in operations in a steel mill plant.


• Knowledge and experience of heavy industry equipment and knowledge of rolling mill processes.


• Must have equipment troubleshooting skills.


• Outstanding skills in working with multiple cultures and disciplines and to quickly and clearly drive action.
