Job Description




  • The ideal candidate must be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of brand development, media relations, and effective communication strategies to build and maintain a strong brand presence, enhance customer relationships, and drive business growth.


Key Responsibilities:


Public Relations



  • Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies that positions the organization as a leader in the fintech and payments industry.

  • Plan and execute PR campaigns to increase the organization's visibility and positive image.

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and key industry influencers.

  • Write and edit press releases, speeches, and other communication materials.


Media Management



  • Act as the primary spokesperson for the organization, managing media inquiries and interviews.

  • Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.

  • Prepare executives for media interactions, including message development and media training.


Content Creation



  • Oversee the creation of engaging content for various channels, including websites, social media, and marketing collateral.

  • Develop thought leadership pieces and op-eds to position the organization as an industry authority.

  • Ensure brand consistency in all written and visual communication materials.


Internal Communications



  • Develop and execute internal communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged.

  • Create and manage internal communication channels, such as newsletters, intranet, and town hall meetings.


Crisis Communication



  • Develop and maintain crisis communication plans to address potential reputational risks.

  • Act as a point of contact during crisis situations, providing timely and transparent communication.


Event Management



  • Plan and execute events, webinars, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and engage stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event execution.


Collaboration and Stakeholder Management



  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure brand alignment across all customer touchpoints.

  • Manage relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors.


Analytics and Reporting



  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to measure the success of branding and communications efforts.

  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, outlining the impact and ROI of marketing and communication initiatives.


Requirements


Key Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or any related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in brand management, public relations, and communications, preferably in the payments or Fintech industry.

  • MBA/Masters degree is highly desirable.

  • Strong strategic thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience in media relations, crisis communication, and event management.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing and social media strategies.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.

  • Familiarity with payment industry trends and regulations is a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
