DESCRIPTION: 


DKT Nigeria is set to recruit qualified candidates for the position of Hospital Sales Manager, with openings in Lagos and Kano. We are looking for smart, dynamic, self-motivated, and committed individuals to fill these roles


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES 


Strategic Leadership and Planning:



  • Develop and execute the hospital sales strategy in alignment with the organization's overall sales objectives.

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, emerging markets, and trends in the healthcare sector to ensure sustainable growth.

  • Set and monitor team sales targets, ensuring they are met or exceeded.

  • Create and manage a comprehensive hospital sales plan, including market segmentation, account targeting, and resource allocation.


Team Management and Development:



  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of hospital sales executives across different regions.

  • Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members, ensuring they are equipped to meet their sales targets and professional goals.

  • Conduct regular sales meetings to review progress, address challenges, and adjust strategies as necessary.

  • Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.


Relationship Management:



  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders within hospitals, including doctors, pharmacists, procurement officers, and hospital administrators.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for hospitals and healthcare institutions, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Engage with hospital decision-makers to negotiate contracts, secure supply agreements, and resolve any service or product issues promptly.


Sales Growth and Product Promotion:



  • Drive the sales of DKT’s family planning, reproductive health products, and related medical devices in hospitals and healthcare facilities.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement hospital-specific marketing strategies and promotional activities.

  • Ensure the hospital sales team effectively communicates the benefits and features of DKT’s products, conducts product demonstrations, and provides relevant training to hospital staff.

  • Develop strategies to expand DKT’s market share within the hospital segment, including introducing new products and services tailored to healthcare institutions.


Sales Operations and Performance Monitoring:



  • Monitor and evaluate hospital sales performance, ensuring that goals are met in terms of revenue, market share, and customer retention.

  • Analyze sales data and market insights to make informed decisions and adjust strategies to meet changing market demands.

  • Prepare regular sales reports for senior management, detailing performance, market trends, and competitor analysis.

  • Ensure the hospital sales team adheres to all company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements related to sales and marketing in healthcare.


Collaboration and Cross-functional Support:



  • Work closely with the distribution and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to hospitals.

  • Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing, regulatory affairs, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and operations within the hospital channel.

  • Represent DKT International Nigeria at medical conferences, trade shows, and industry events to promote the organization’s mission and product portfolio.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Public Health, or a related field. A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is an added advantage.

  • 5-7 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales, with at least 3 years of experience in managerial role.

  • Experience in the reproductive health or family planning sector is an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry, hospital procurement processes, and hospital product sales.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building successful relationships with healthcare professionals.
