Job Summary




  • We are seeking a  business development officer who will carry out research in the U.S market, identify opportunities for business growth and create marketing strategies based on those opportunities in order to meet and exceed business goals.



Responsibilities




  • Carry out research to identify business opportunities, competitor’s business strategies in the U.S market and beyond.

  • Identifying potential clients and relating the company’s services to them with the goal of closing out business deals.

  • Leading the charge on market research plans to identify new opportunities

  • Working with executives to implement marketing strategies and new opportunities

  • Encouraging new and existing clients by creating and improving proposals

  • Developing and pitching ideas for potential investors

  • Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help company expand

  • Maintain existing business

  • Think critically when planning to assure project success

  • Search of potential clients and new projects opportunities.

  • Identify partnership opportunities and develop existing ones

  • Formulate and implementing Annual Sales Plan.

  • Visit regularly target clients when needed.

  • Identify international business conferences that is beneficial to the company.

  • Market Analysis including competition and major competitors’ analysis.

  • Manage sales activities from conception to closing and create realistic sales pipeline based on type of opportunity.

  • Formulate a clear vision to achieve market growth.

  • Report all sales opportunities and forecasts.

  • Admin task may be assigned.

  • Writing of business proposals and bid tendering.



Qualifications




  • B.Sc in any discipline

  • 2 - 3 years working experience as a business development officer

  • Understanding of Nipex regulations is compulsory

  • Experience in bidding/tendering is compulsory.

  • Sales and Marketing skills

  • Fluent English (spoken & written}

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies

  • Proven record of achieved revenue and growth plan.

  • Focused and goal-oriented

  • Must have a laptop, generator/solar and internet router
