To use our existing contents and create new contents to generate compelling social media posts on Facebook, X, Instagram and WhatsApp (reels, captions, stories) that align with current social media trends, captivate our audience and reinforce trust in our brand.
Plan and execute weekly and monthly contents to be sent to your line manager every Friday and last day of each working month respectively.
Collaborate with management to develop and implement an effective communications strategy.
Support the organisation’s project team to develop and operationalize the Communication and Social Media Strategy.
Write, edit, and distribute content, including website publications, blog posts, newsletters, press releases, website and social media contents, annual reports, speeches, addresses and other public relations materials that communicate the organization's activities and increase our visibility among stakeholders.
Respond to media inquiries and arrange interviews.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with journalists and maintain a media database.
Seek opportunities to enhance the reputation of the brand, and coordinate publicity events as required.
Maintain records of media coverage (print, electronic and social media) and collate analytics and metrics.
Develop, support and promote the organization’s goals through key messages development, social media content creation and media outreaches.
Advise other employees and managers on communication tasks and use written and verbal skills to create a wide range of corporate communication materials.
Support in the development and also oversee the distribution of bulk mails (Press Releases, newsletters and Invitations) to journalists and work to make this form of communication more effective and targeted.
Develop online communication materials including video contents that are related to the organization’s areas of focus.
Maintain oversight of the organization’s website, including updating relevant information.
To grow the brand’s social media followers on all platforms.
Ensure the organization’s social media channels/platforms remain engaging and active, including occasionally live-tweeting from events and monitoring commentary on the organization and its projects.
To help the organization get fundings and find opportunities to partner with organizations of like-minds
Be knowledgeable in Wordpress.
REQUIREMENTS.
Must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in creating and curating content for various platforms such as Instagram, X, Facebook, and website blog contents.
Must be open to learning and taking constructive feedback on board.
Must be knowledgeable in using picture and video editing apps such as In-shot, Capcut, Canva etc.
Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
