This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Officer at Wayfare Travels in Lagos.
The Sales Officer will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
This role requires strong negotiation skills and a proactive approach to business development.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, and market research.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business.
Present travel products and services to prospective clients and negotiate sales contracts.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to clients.
Track sales performance and report on progress to management.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Qualifications
Previous experience in service-based sales roles or the travel industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
