Job description

A Lagos-based online newspaper is looking for an experienced entertainment reporter for full-time employment. 

Responsibilities:

• Collecting, verifying, writing and publishing entertainment stories for an online newspaper run by professional journalists

Requirements

• Up to the minute knowledge about personalities and trends in the Nigerian entertainment scene 


• Good command of the English Language 


• Ability to gather, write and self-edit stories 


• Broad knowledge of headlines


• Computer proficiency (MS Office, WordPress, SEO, web search)


• Active presence on social media


• At least one-year experience reporting entertainment for a print or online newspaper


• Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays 

Minimum education required: OND

Proximity to Anthony Village in Lagos is an advantage.
