Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Engineering Storekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the engineering stores, ensuring accurate inventory control, and providing excellent support to our engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records for engineering stores
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and equipment
- Issue materials and equipment to engineering teams as required
- Conduct regular stocktakes and reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems and processes
- Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and equipment
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Requirements:
- OND/HND in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, logistics, supply chain management)
- 3+ years of experience in a storekeeping or inventory management role
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
