- Reporting to the Company Secretary, the Investor Relations Analyst (IRA) will support the Company Secretary in ensuring the organization adheres to ethical and regulatory standards.
- The IRA will monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, liaise with regulatory bodies, and ensure timely submission of reports and filings.
- They will also manage shareholder relations, address inquiries, coordinate regulatory filings, and maintain investor communication channels.
- The role involves conducting internal audits, analyzing industry trends, ensuring corporate governance adherence, and mitigating penalties through effective implementation of regulations.
- The IRA will also oversee the management of unclaimed dividends, support the preparation of statutory and financial reports, and serve as the key contact for investors and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with regulations by FRC, NGX, SEC, and other agencies.
- Develop and manage communication strategies for shareholders and the investment community.
- Coordinate regulatory filings and ensure adherence to corporate governance practices.
- Facilitate the processing of unclaimed dividends and regulatory updates.
- Analyze trends and performance, providing insights for management and regulatory reporting.
- Maintain effective stakeholder relationships and resolve shareholder queries promptly.

- Timeliness and accuracy of regulatory filings and reports.

Requirements
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Law; Master’s in Business or Law preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years in investor relations, corporate finance, or related fields.
- Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with financial acumen and IT proficiency.
