- We are looking for a Travel Agent Trainee to Intern in our company for a limited period of time before transiting into the Role of a Full Fledged Travel Service officer.
- To this extent, we are looking to employ a Travel Service Intern - Operations (Ops) to perform the undermentioned duties, whilst developing better skills and earning more certifications to effectively serve in a more permanent role.
- The successful candidate will have a strong background in the travel industry, confident and command a good communication skills, as well as a good client management ability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Selling Flight Tickets (Domestic, Regional International);
- Post ticketing support services;
- Hotel Booking support (pre/post travel support);
- Visa Application Support Services;
- Building passenger profiles and use with all reservations;
- Selling of Travel/Holiday Packages & Tours;
- Selling of all Travel Services & Client management.
- General Travel Sales & Marketing;
Skills and Qualifications:
- Candidates must hold a certification of Travel Service Training from an Aviation Training School & Above;
- Candidates must be able to proficiently use any of the GDS and other booking systems
Key Skills Needed
- Candidates must be able to proficiently use any of the GDS;
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in travel-related roles with proven expertise in sales and service management.
- Understanding of flights, hotels, transfers booking and visa processes.
- Proficiency in travel booking systems and customer relationship management tools.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to think strategically and respond swiftly to challenges.
