Job Summary
- This role is responsible for supporting and managing various financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilites
- Calculation of VAT, PAYE, WHT, Pension and other taxable according to Nigeria law.
- Ensure effectiveness of Account payable process which includes checking of documents, cost, approvals and payments.
- To liaise with customers, vendors, bankers, consultants, FIRS/LIRS or other government officials for data and other matters.
- Responding to requests for information and resolving issues swiftly.
- Answering client queries on invoicing and visiting clients when required.
- Following up with payments and bill submission.
- Provide necessary documentation and support during internal audits.
- Maintain organized records and ensure proper documentation of all financial transaction.
- Verify, allocate, post and reconcile.
- Manage invoices and ensure that payments are made according to the company policies.
- Experience in vendor management.
- And any other responsibility delegated by the manager
Education, Qualification and Experience
- HND / B/Sc and other certifications and training.
- Preferred person should have between 3 to 5 years experiences as an Account Officer with Degree in Accountancy.
- Working experience in Banking, Investment, account firm or related field.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient in MS suit, google suite and other accounting software.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
- Tech enthusiast.
- Ability to create great working relationships with all levels within the company and across multiple disciplines.
