Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with a strong technical background and extensive experience in the electronics/PCB/semiconductor sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex projects relating to design (analog/ digital) using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies to drive project success.This role requires a proactive leader with both technical and project management expertise to drive successful outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage projects through all phases of the project lifecycle (design, design validation, tape-out), ensuring timely delivery and meeting quality standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, design teams, and cross-functional teams to define project scope, requirements, and objectives.
- Implement and oversee project management methodologies, ensuring adherence to best practices in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
- Act as a technical liaison between project teams and stakeholders, leveraging knowledge in system architecture, VLSI, and design flow.
- Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and progress reports for executives, client delivery.
Necessary Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Project Management Expertise: Proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies with a proven track record of managing projects in the semiconductor industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of system architecture, VLSI, and design flow fundamentals.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder expectations.
Good to Have:
- Industry Experience: Background in the semiconductor industry, including exposure to IC design and fabrication processes.
- Advanced Certifications: Additional certifications or training in engineering project/ program manager or equivalent, Scrum Master roles, PMP or CSM certification required.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management tools.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze project data, anticipate issues, and implement solutions proactively.
