Job Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced and proactive Electrical Maintenance Manager to oversee and manage the electrical maintenance operations within our organization, with additional oversight of HVAC, plumbing, civil, and mechanical systems.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and maintenance, combined with a solid understanding of other building systems and infrastructure.
- This role requires leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage a team while ensuring all systems are well-maintained and operational.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical System Maintenance:
- Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, circuits, and components across the facility.
- Ensure compliance with all electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems to ensure reliability and performance.
- Manage the installation of new electrical systems or upgrades to existing systems.
HVAC System Management:
- Supervise the operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations related to HVAC operations.
- Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on HVAC units, ductwork, and related systems.
Plumbing Maintenance:
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and waste systems.
- Coordinate plumbing inspections, leak detection, and ensure compliance with plumbing codes and safety standards.
Civil and Mechanical Maintenance:
- Manage the maintenance and repair of civil infrastructure such as building structures, foundations, and exterior systems.
- Oversee mechanical systems maintenance, including pumps, motors, and other essential machinery that supports facility operations.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized civil and mechanical projects when needed.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, providing direction, training, and support to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Assign and prioritize maintenance tasks and projects, ensuring effective use of resources and meeting deadlines.
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment by enforcing safety protocols and regulations.
Budget and Inventory Management:
- Prepare and manage the department's budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maintenance activities.
- Monitor inventory levels for spare parts and maintenance supplies, ensuring adequate stock is maintained.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and compliance reports.
- Provide regular updates to management on the status of systems, projects, and any issues that may arise.
Emergency Response:
- Respond to urgent electrical, HVAC, plumbing, civil, and mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
- Coordinate emergency repairs and ensure that backup systems are functioning during critical events.
