Reports To: Creative Director & Operation Manager



A Social Media Manager at MARVEE is tasked with the responsibility of focusing on a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and expertise in both luxury fashion and digital marketing.



Education:




  • A degree in Marketing, Business, Fashion, Communications, or a related field.



Experience:




  • Industry Experience: Generally, at least 3-5 years of experience in social media marketing, with a preference for experience within the luxury, bespoke fashion, high-end RTW retail sector.

  • Brand Management: Proven track record in managing brand presence on social platforms, ideally with experience in luxury fashion or similar markets.



Skills:




  • Content Creation: Proficiency in creating high-quality content (photos, videos, graphics) tailored to a luxury audience. Tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign, and familiarity with platforms like Canva might be required.

  • Social Media Expertise: Deep knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, X (formerly Twitter), and possibly emerging platforms. Understanding of how to leverage each platform for maximum engagement in the luxury sector.

  • Analytics: Ability to use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite Analytics, Sprout Social) to track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, adjusting strategies accordingly.

  • SEO/SEM: Knowledge of SEO/SEM for social media to boost visibility and engagement.

  • Influencer Marketing: Experience in identifying, collaborating, and managing relationships with influencers that match the brand's ethos.



Soft Skills:




  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to maintain brand voice, engage with followers, and collaborate internally and externally.

  • Creativity: Innovative thinking for content and campaign ideas that stand out in a crowded marketplace while maintaining the brand's luxurious image.

  • Trend Awareness: Staying ahead of fashion trends, social media trends, and cultural shifts to keep the brand relevant.

  • Organizational Skills: Managing content calendars, project timelines, and being responsive to real-time opportunities or crises.



Additional Requirements:




  • Cultural Fit: Understanding and embodying the brand's values, aesthetic, and target audience.

  • Understand the nuances of marketing luxury products, where brand prestige, exclusivity, and storytelling are paramount.

  • Networking: Building and maintaining relationships with industry insiders, influencers, and media.

  • Language Skills: For global brands, proficiency in multiple languages can be beneficial.

  • Adaptability: The luxury market is fast-paced; the ability to pivot strategies swiftly based on performance or market changes is key.



Certifications:




  • certifications in social media marketing, digital marketing, or luxury brand management can be advantageous.



Portfolio:




  • A strong portfolio showcasing past work in social media campaigns, especially within fashion or luxury, can significantly bolster your application. 



Salary Range:



NGN 250,000 - 450,000
