Job Summary
Overseeing end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations as well as drive improvements to procedures and controls.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate record for all the source documents used for daily financial transactions.
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliation statements for the company.
- Perform POS reconciliation with the bank and ensure compliance with agreed POS charges.
- Ensure appropriate approval on the expenses used for the daily running of the business.
- Perform oversight function on the activities of petty cash expenses.
- Posting of all the expenses head to appropriate heading in the system
- Maintaining payable and receivable balance in the system.
- Maintaining fixed assets registered in the system
- Liaise with external auditor on financial-related issues.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting
- Professional qualification will be an added advantage
- A minimum of 2-4 years work experience in similar role
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize
- The ability to work as part of a team and to build strong working relationships
- The capacity to make quick but rational decisions
- The ideal candidate MUST be resident in OPIC estate, Kara, Berger or environs.
- Knowledge of quick books is an added advantage
- High numeracy and sound technical skills
- Problem-solving skills and initiative
