Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Branch Manager to lead our branch at Onitsha Anambra operations at Ekesons Parcel Services Ltd. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, proven sales experience, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in the logistics and courier industry. The Branch Manager will oversee daily operations, drive sales performance, ensure customer satisfaction, and manage a team to achieve branch goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve the branch’s revenue targets.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to drive sales growth.
- Identify business opportunities and lead marketing efforts to promote Ekesons Parcel Services Ltd in the local market.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure the achievement of sales KPIs and targets.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to keep the branch competitive.
Branch Operations:
- Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processing of courier deliveries.
- Manage inventory, supplies, and courier fleet to ensure service delivery is timely and accurate.
- Implement operational processes to improve efficiency, minimize errors, and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of employees, including sales representatives, drivers, and operational staff.
- Provide coaching and development to staff to enhance performance and career growth.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and feedback sessions to ensure high employee engagement and morale.
- Maintain an inclusive and collaborative branch culture that reflects the company’s values.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Build long-term relationships with key clients and partners.
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and implement improvements as necessary.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Prepare and present weekly/monthly/quarterly reports on branch performance, sales targets, and key operational metrics.
- Analyze sales and operational data to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies for increasing branch performance.
