Role Summary




  • The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying and securing business opportunities to achieve annual sales and revenue targets.

  • This role requires strategic planning, extensive client engagement, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and revenue growth.



Key Responsibilities




  • Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities to exceed annual targets.

  • Conduct detailed mapping of assigned regions to identify potential clients for services such as Internet Leased Line, IoT, and Smart Solutions.

  • Build strong relationships with C-level executives and other key decision-makers.

  • Prepare and deliver impactful presentations at client meetings, industry events, and trade shows.

  • Manage a robust client database using tools like Salesforce or CRM software.

  • Perform cold calling, schedule appointments, and close sales deals.

  • Collaborate with sales and leadership teams to secure, retain, and grow accounts.

  • Monitor sales pipeline, track progress in CRM systems, and forecast sales outcomes.

  • Ensure efficient resolution of customer issues in collaboration with support teams.

  • Drive timely collection of receivables to meet financial targets.



Key Relationships




  • Leadership: HODs of Business Development, Customer Care, and Project Management

  • Customers: Existing and prospective clients of TecPoint Global Solutions

  • Telecom technologies: Internet Leased Line, FTTH, FTTX, VoIP, and IoT solutions.



Key Performance Indicators




  • Achievement of sales and revenue targets.

  • Acquisition of new accounts.

  • Timely collection of receivables.

  • Retention and satisfaction of clients.



Qualifications




  • Candidates should possess a Master's Degree in Business Management or equivalent.

  • NYSC certification.



Experience:




  • 2–4 years in business development within telecommunications or ISP industries.

  • Familiarity with Internet Leased Line, FTTH, VoIP, and other telecom services.

  • Must have relevant experience in the Telecommunication industry



Soft Skills:




  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong negotiation, critical thinking, and time management abilities.

  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office.

  • Proven ability to follow up, build rapport, and manage client relationships.

  • Goal-oriented, resourceful, and team-driven.
