Job Purpose
- The Account Manager will manage financial transactions, ensure accurate record-keeping, and support financial reporting in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
- The role involves overseeing accounts payable/receivable, handling inventory accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, process invoices, and reconcile balances.
- Monitor and account forinventory levels, ensuring accurate valuation and cost control.
- Track daily and monthlysales performanceand assist in cash flow management.
- Assist inbudget preparationand monitor expenses against forecasts.
- Preparefinancial statementsand reports, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Ensuretax complianceand assist withaudits.
- Liaise with vendors and customers on financial issues.
Requirements
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-15 years of accounting experience, preferably in an FMCG Company.
Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, or any ERP system used in FMCG.
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to handle large datasets.
- Familiarity with the high transaction volume and complexity of the FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ICAN) or in-progress certification.
