Remuneration: 9M per Annum



Job Summary



Our client urgently requires the services of a dynamic and result-oriented finance professional with experience in people management, as General Manager, Finance and Human Resources (GM, FHR). The successful candidate is expected to spearhead finance and human resources functions with integrity and strategic insight, to support the continued viability and profitability of the company.



Key Responsibilities




  • Maintain proper books of accounts and prepare monthly income statements, quarterly management accounts, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting and financial reporting standards.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial management strategies and ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks.

  • Provide strategic guidance and financial analysis to support decision-making processes and long-term planning.

  • Oversee tax planning, compliance, and reporting activities to minimize tax liabilities.

  • Design and implement human resource policies, programs, and initiatives to attract, develop, and retain talents.

  • Lead, coordinate, manage, and supervise the Finance and HR team using various motivational and performance-driven approaches.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and integrity across the organisation.



Qualifications and Experience




  • Higher National Diploma / B.Sc. in Accounting, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration

  • Professional Accounting Certification: ICAN.

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in a Finance and Accounting role, with at least 5 years in a management position, preferably in an investment company.

  • In-depth knowledge of human resource management principles, including talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations.

  • Exceptional analytical skills, strategic thinking, and decision-making ability.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
