Our ideal candidate:



  • Is knowledgeable and passionate about the culinary and food-tech space, and the gig economy or willing to learn

  • Has well-developed writing skills

  • Understands social media subgroups, banter, and meme culture

  • Enjoys creating and pitching ideas for social media content


Will be responsible for:



  • Increasing social media appearance on relevant social media platforms including:



  1. Twitter

  2. Instagram

  3. Facebook

  4. LinkedIn



  • Creating a content calendar that allows for scheduled content to be planned and released

  • Content creation relating to Jise and food delivery

  • Engaging with Jise's growing community to facilitate a positive and supportive environment.


Responsibilities for Social Media & Community Manager



  • Manage Social Media campaigns for various social media platforms to align with marketing strategies 

  • Publish content that meets the brand’s communication style

  • Implement social media strategies to increase engagement & followers

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry and digital trends

  • Responding to customer inquiries & comments on social platforms in a timely manner

  • Build relationships with the online community

  • Monitor and provide feedback on engagement/conversation via social media channels to leadership

  • Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure brand consistency

  • Facilitate scaling brand and company awareness through various social media channels

  • Work with brand to create and implement social media strategies monthly

  • Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice and terminology

  • Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between customers and the company, and ensure a positive customer service experience

  • Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn

  • Ensure progress on all platforms by using analytical tools such as Google Analytics and others

  • Oversee the creating and implementation of the monthly editorial calendar which includes monthly sales objectives and initiatives


Qualifications for Social Media Manager



  • 1-3 years of social media management experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field

  • Professional certification in Google Analytics strongly preferred

  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites

  • General knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and internet ranking for web content.

  • Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention.

  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach.


Salary - NGN 100,000 - NGN 200,000 (USD 350 - USD 480) negotiable
