The Sales Relationship Officer is responsible for managing and nurturing client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities to expand sales within existing accounts. The role focuses on maintaining strong customer relationships to achieve long-term business success.



Key Responsibilities




  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.

  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement strategic sales plans.

  • Meet or exceed sales targets and goals.

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on customer accounts and sales performance.

  • Analyse sales data and market conditions to inform sales strategies.

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's services.

  • Close sales deals and ensure a high conversion rate from leads to customers with the marketing team.

  • Document all sales interactions and maintain accurate customer records.

  • Provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.  



QUALIFICATION




  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, Communication, or a related

  • At least 2 years experience in a sales, customer service or marketing role role, with a track record of achieving sales targets.

  • Proven experience in sales preferably within Fintech, Microfinance or Insurance industry.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and interpersonal skill.

  • Ability to use CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques.

  • Strong communication, organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
