The Key Purpose of this role is to optimize processes on the packaging line.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining, repairing and optimizing plant equipment and associated devices


• Operating and monitoring equipment when required.


• Optimizing plant performance in terms of productivity, quality, delivery, cost and safety.


• Maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.


• Applying the Manufacturing Way Principles and Practices.


• Applying problem solving processes.

Key Attributes and Competencies:

• Ability to communicate well.


• Must be a team player.


• Ability to adhere to instructions, work in shifts with minimum supervision and action oriented.


• Sober mind, self-starter, physically fit and honest.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 certificate with six credits


• Minimum Advanced Certificate in Mechanical Engineering


• Minimum of 2 years working experience in Manufacturing
