Responsibilities


The ideal candidate will (but not limited to):



  • Research various destinations and means of travel regarding prices, customs, weather conditions, reviews etc.

  • Providing advice on travel-related topics such as passports, visas, medications needed for trips, etc.

  • Diagnose the clients’ specifications and wishes and suggest suitable travel packages or services

  • Recommending tours and excursions that are suitable for the customers’ interests, time frames, and budgets

  • Creating detailed itineraries for each trip based on the clients’ interests and needs

  • Assisting with trip planning by creating a list of potential destinations based on clients’ preferences and budget

  • Calling clients to confirm reservations and inform them of changes to their itinerary

  • Organize travels from beginning to end, through booking tickets and accommodation, securing rental transportation etc.

  • Arranging for transportation to and from the airport for clients when they arrive or depart at their destination

  • Explaining the rules and regulations about carry on baggage, checked luggage, and other items allowed on airplanes

  • Supply travellers with pertinent information and useful travel/holiday material (guides, maps, event programs etc)

  • Handle unforeseen problems and complaints and determine eligibility for money returns

  • Attend conferences to maintain familiarity with tourism trends

  • Recommending insurance coverage and helping clients purchase travel insurance policies


Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality Business, or relevant fields.

  • 3 years’ experience in planning tour packages and visa processing for clients.

  • Hands-on experience in reservation and ticketing.

  • Excellent knowledge of visa requirements for various Embassies.
