We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager with expertise in importation and warehousing to oversee the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods. This role involves managing international shipments, coordinating customs clearance, optimizing warehouse operations, and ensuring timely deliveries. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of supply chain management, import/export regulations, and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

Importation & Customs Management

• Oversee the importation process, ensuring compliance with international trade laws and regulations.


• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to facilitate smooth shipments.


• Ensure accurate documentation for customs clearance, including bills of lading, invoices, and import permits.


• Monitor import duties, taxes, and tariffs to optimize cost efficiency.


• Stay updated on changes in import/export policies and advise management accordingly.

Warehousing & Inventory Control

• Supervise warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.


• Develop and implement warehouse layout and inventory management systems for efficiency.


• Ensure proper stock control, inventory accuracy, and timely restocking.


• Oversee the implementation of safety and security protocols within the warehouse.


• Conduct regular audits to monitor inventory levels and prevent losses.

Logistics & Supply Chain Management

• Develop and execute logistics strategies to optimize transportation and distribution.


• Ensure timely delivery of goods from ports to warehouses and final destinations.


• Negotiate contracts with logistics providers and shipping companies for cost-effective solutions.


• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve supply chain efficiency.


• Work closely with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to align logistics with business goals.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.


• Minimum 5+ years of experience in logistics management with expertise in importation and warehousing.


• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, import/export procedures, and international shipping.


• Experience in warehouse management, inventory control, and supply chain optimization.


• Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and inventory tracking tools.


• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to analyze logistics costs and optimize operational efficiency.


• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.


• Familiarity with transportation regulations, freight forwarding, and warehousing best practices.
