Job Summary




  • The Business Development Manager for Radiology Sales in Uni-Medical Healthcare Limited is responsible for driving the growth and expansion of radiology products and services within a specified market. 

  • This role focuses on developing and executing sales strategies, building and nurturing relationships with healthcare providers, and ensuring the company meets or exceeds revenue targets. 

  • The position requires a deep understanding of radiology technology, market trends, and customer needs within the healthcare industry.



Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy and Execution:




  • Develop and implement sales strategies for radiology products and services to meet revenue and growth targets.

  • Identify new business opportunities, including potential clients and markets, through research and relationship-building.

  • Drive the sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring alignment with company goals.



Client Relationship Management:




  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospitals, clinics, private practices, imaging centers, and other healthcare providers.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for existing and potential clients, offering tailored solutions to meet their radiology needs.

  • Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up support to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.



Product Knowledge and Consultation:




  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technological advancements in radiology, including imaging equipment, software, and services.

  • Provide consultative sales, advising clients on the best radiology products and services for their specific needs.

  • Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions to healthcare providers and decision-makers.



Market Research and Analysis:




  • Conduct thorough market research to understand the competitive landscape, customer needs, and industry trends.

  • Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market conditions to inform sales strategies and identify opportunities for growth.



Sales Targets and Reporting:




  • Set and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and progress in CRM systems.

  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.



Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:




  • Collaborate with marketing, product management, and customer support teams to develop and execute campaigns, promotional materials, and sales initiatives.

  • Work with the technical team to ensure proper installation, training, and support for customers post-sale.



Negotiation and Contract Management:




  • Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and the customer.

  • Manage the preparation and finalization of contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.



Training and Development:




  • Train and support junior sales staff or representatives in the product portfolio, sales processes, and best practices.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.



Key Skills and Qualifications




  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Sciences, or a related field. A background in healthcare or radiology is preferred.

  • Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience in sales, with a strong preference for experience in the healthcare, medical devices, or radiology sectors.

  • Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of radiology equipment, imaging systems (such as MRI, CT scans, X-rays, etc.), and relevant software.

  • Sales Skills: Proven track record of successfully meeting or exceeding sales targets in a business development role. Strong negotiation and closing skills.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Relationship Building: Ability to establish and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify client needs and provide customized solutions.

  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and goals are met.

  • CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM tools (e.g.,Odoo, Salesforce, HubSpot) to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
