The Fair Assistant is responsible for ensuring smooth operations and coordination during the education fair. The assistant will help manage attendee movement, assist with form filling, handle the attendance list, support education partners, and promote the fair. The ideal candidate should be fluent in English and possesses excellent organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate movement in the hall Guide attendees to appropriate locations within the hall to ensure smooth flow of movement and proper crowd management
Work closely with the event team to ensure that participants and education partners are in the correct areas.
Provide guidance on necessary documentation and registration processes and ensure that attendees fill out necessary forms accurately and efficiently
Answer any questions related to the forms and ensure they are submitted properly.
Provide general event assistance as required, including liaising with attendees, staff, and partners.
Assist with organizing any workshops or seminars that are part of the fair.
Help with setting up and breaking down event equipment, materials, and booths
Maintain and update the attendance list for the fair and Ensure accurate records of all attendees.
Assist education partners in attending to attendees and managing inquiries.
Facilitate communication between attendees and education partners where necessary.
Organize and streamline the enquiry process to ensure efficiency.
Distribute promotional materials and provide information about the fair.
Provide general support and assistance to the fair organizers as needed.
Address any issues or concerns that may arise during the fair.
Requirements:
Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
Previous experience in event coordination or a similar role is a plus.
