Job Summary
- The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding the company’s market presence within the oil and gas industry.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry trends, client relationship management, and revenue growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the oil and gas sector.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends.
- Prepare and present business proposals, contracts, and bids to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement strategic business plans.
- Monitor industry regulations and ensure compliance with relevant policies.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities and progress.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive brand awareness and revenue growth.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of the oil and gas sector, including upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to develop and execute business growth strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in contract negotiation and management.
