Job Summary




  • The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding the company’s market presence within the oil and gas industry.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry trends, client relationship management, and revenue growth strategies.



Key Responsibilities




  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the oil and gas sector.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends.

  • Prepare and present business proposals, contracts, and bids to prospective clients.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement strategic business plans.

  • Monitor industry regulations and ensure compliance with relevant policies.

  • Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows.

  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities and progress.

  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive brand awareness and revenue growth.



Qualifications and Experience




  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role in the oil and gas industry.

  • Strong knowledge of the oil and gas sector, including upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to develop and execute business growth strategies.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.
