- Dangote Cement Plc is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Manager- Assets and Liability Management who will be responsible for processing DCP import finance transactions, reconciling vendor accounts, and collating FX obligations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Compile and submit the Group FX Allocation Report by gathering daily data from CBN/EFEMS and other sources for the Group Treasurer and GCFO.
- Ensure timely updates on Banking Obligations reports.
- Ensure DCP bank loan/import finance facility requests are processed within a week of authorization.
- Resolve outstanding vendor unreconciled items with FAL and Vendor Team.
- Collate outstanding FX obligations monthly.
- Confirm bank balances quarterly with auditors and the account team.
- Provide monthly and yearly cash flow forecasts to the Group CFO for investment and operational decisions.
Educational Qualification and Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any other related discipline.
- Must have 12 - 15 years relevant work experience.
Skills and Competencies:
- Good understanding of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations and legislations relating to the cement manufacturing industry.
- Good knowledge and understanding of Treasury best practices, IFRS, and other applicable accounting standards.
Key Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of accounting packages and systems, including SAP.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good Organizational skills.
- Good data gathering, analysis and problem solving skills
- High ethical standards and integrity.
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools.
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
