Brit Transport Nigeria Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Account Officer to join our finance team. The ideal candidate must have 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in accounting and must reside within the Ajah environment for an easy commute.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Process invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and other financial stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2 – 4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Good knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and financial regulations.
- Must reside in Ajah or nearby areas.
