Job Summary
- The Executive Assistant (EA) to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will provide high-level administrative and operational support to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the CFO’s office.
- The EA will handle confidential financial information, manage schedules, coordinate meetings, and facilitate communication between the CFO and internal/external stakeholders.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support:
- Manage the CFO’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Prepare and organize financial reports, presentations, and documents for board meetings, investor meetings, and executive briefings.
- Screen and prioritize emails, phone calls, and correspondence on behalf of the CFO.
- Maintain financial records, reports, and other sensitive documents with discretion.
- Assist in drafting and proofreading reports, contracts, and agreements.
Financial & Business Coordination:
- Support the CFO in monitoring budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reports.
- Liaise with the finance team to track deadlines, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate meetings with auditors, investors, and financial institutions.
Stakeholder & Communication Management:
- Act as a liaison between the CFO and internal/external stakeholders, including senior executives, government agencies, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
- Handle confidential financial matters with a high degree of professionalism and discretion.
- Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action points from executive meetings.
- Assist in coordinating financial events, investor meetings, and board presentations.
Project & Operational Support:
- Manage special projects assigned by the CFO, ensuring timely execution and follow-through.
- Work closely with finance, accounting, and legal teams to streamline processes.
- Develop and implement administrative systems to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1–3 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably supporting C-level executives in a finance-related role.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, reports, and budgeting.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and financial reporting tools.
- Experience in the automobile industry or a finance-related field is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with minimal supervision.
