Job Summary
- The Senior Finance Associate will play a key role in managing financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- The role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, analysis, and business strategy to support decision-making and drive financial performance.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate finance, accounting, and financial planning, preferably within the automobile industry.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Assist in preparing financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decision-making.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on financial performance.
Accounting & Reporting:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile accounts, manage financial records, and ensure compliance with accounting principles.
- Work closely with auditors and regulatory bodies to maintain compliance with financial regulations.
Budgeting & Cost Control:
- Monitor company expenses and ensure alignment with budgetary guidelines.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend financial efficiency improvements.
- Support departments in financial planning and expenditure tracking.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
- Assist in risk assessment and mitigation strategies to safeguard company assets.
- Work with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities as required.
Stakeholder Management & Reporting:
- Prepare financial presentations and reports for senior management, investors, and stakeholders.
- Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and other external partners.
- Support the finance team in strategic projects and financial modeling.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA) is a plus.
- 4 - 7 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related fields, preferably in the automobile or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and corporate finance.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or Sage).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and local tax regulations.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
