Job Summary




  • The Senior Finance Associate will play a key role in managing financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. 

  • The role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, analysis, and business strategy to support decision-making and drive financial performance. 

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate finance, accounting, and financial planning, preferably within the automobile industry.



Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis:




  • Assist in preparing financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decision-making.

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on financial performance.



Accounting & Reporting:




  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Reconcile accounts, manage financial records, and ensure compliance with accounting principles.

  • Work closely with auditors and regulatory bodies to maintain compliance with financial regulations.



Budgeting & Cost Control:




  • Monitor company expenses and ensure alignment with budgetary guidelines.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend financial efficiency improvements.

  • Support departments in financial planning and expenditure tracking.



Compliance & Risk Management:




  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.

  • Assist in risk assessment and mitigation strategies to safeguard company assets.

  • Work with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities as required.



Stakeholder Management & Reporting:




  • Prepare financial presentations and reports for senior management, investors, and stakeholders.

  • Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and other external partners.

  • Support the finance team in strategic projects and financial modeling.



Requirements




  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA) is a plus.

  • 4 - 7 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related fields, preferably in the automobile or manufacturing industry.

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and corporate finance.

  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or Sage).

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and local tax regulations.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
