Job Responsibilities
Key Result Area 1 - Client Project Management:
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive project plan for all key client projects in PPC
- Coordinate all key client projects on time, within scope and approved budget
- Effective management of all assigned engineers on specific project teams
- End-to-end management of all projects in PPC
- Manage changes in project scope, project schedules and cost using approved and appropriate verification methods
Key Result Area 2 - Team Management:
- Effectively coordinate and manage cross functional teams in every assigned project
- Prompt resolution of project team issues where they arise
- Develop user manuals and training materials for new and existing project teams to ensure alignment with all project requirements and to ensure quality assurance
Key Result Area 3 - Project Reporting:
- Preparation of project status reports
- Preparation and documentation of project communication plans
- Preparing post project evaluation reports identifying key success or hazard factors for reference purposes
Key Result Area 4 - External Relationship:
- Identifying and exploring new relationships with existing clients
- Relationship management of all key client during project period
- Coordination of vendors and all third parties prior to achieve sound project execution
Key Performance Indicator
Key Result Area 1 – Project Planning:
- Accuracy of Project Plans (Zero Errors)
- Timeliness in developing and submission of Project Plans (Submission of comprehensive plans before project commencement date)
Key Result Area 2 – Project Reporting:
- Completed feasibility reports prior to project kick off
- Project costs kept within budget
Key Result Area 3 – Project Scheduling:
- Tracking Project progress in line with approved milestones – (Zero Omissions)
Key Result Area 4 – Project Execution:
- 100% completion within scope, cost, quality standard and time
Job Specifications
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management or any related degree.
Professional Qualification:
- Either PMP OR Prince 2 Certification.
Experience:
- 5 years’ cognate experience in Project Management in the public or private sector
- Excellent client-facing and Interpersonal Skills.
Key Competencies Requirements
Technical:
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power-Point)
- Good working knowledge of MS Project
- MS Access, MS Outlook, Visio
- Developing and Tracking project related budgets
- Proficiency in tested Project Management Methodologies
