About The Role




  • This role provides executive support in a one-on-one relationship with the Chairman.

  • The Executive Assistant to the Chairman serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies in all matters about the Chairman. 

  • This role serves as a liaison to the Board of Directors, and Executive and senior leadership teams; organizes and coordinates external relations efforts; and oversees special projects.



Responsibilities




  • Plans, coordinates, and ensures the Chairman’s schedule is followed and respected.

  • Provides gatekeeper and gateway roles, creating win-win situations for direct access to the Chairman’s time and office.

  • Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the Chairman, including those of a sensitive and confidential nature. Determines the appropriate course of action, referrals, or response.

  • Complete critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach including personal correspondence and other tasks that facilitate the Chairman’s ability to lead/contribute to the company effectively.

  • Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously and proactively and follows up on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.

Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University

  • 2 - 3 years post-graduation experience

  • Membership of professional bodies and/or industry certification

  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
