This role provides executive support in a one-on-one relationship with the Chairman.
The Executive Assistant to the Chairman serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies in all matters about the Chairman.
This role serves as a liaison to the Board of Directors, and Executive and senior leadership teams; organizes and coordinates external relations efforts; and oversees special projects.
Responsibilities
Plans, coordinates, and ensures the Chairman’s schedule is followed and respected.
Provides gatekeeper and gateway roles, creating win-win situations for direct access to the Chairman’s time and office.
Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the Chairman, including those of a sensitive and confidential nature. Determines the appropriate course of action, referrals, or response.
Complete critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach including personal correspondence and other tasks that facilitate the Chairman’s ability to lead/contribute to the company effectively.
Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously and proactively and follows up on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University
2 - 3 years post-graduation experience
Membership of professional bodies and/or industry certification
Extremely proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
