  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our client. 

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practices and principles, with 3-6years of hands-on experience in managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.



Responsibilities




  • Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments.

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of payments and invoices.

  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are resolved promptly.

  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial insights to support decision-making.

  • Provide support in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing in compliance with local regulations.

  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit processes.

  • Work with the Team lead to ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.

  • Provide support during month-end and year-end closing processes.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Professional certification will be an advantage.

  • 3-6 years of relevant accounting experience, is preferred.

  • Auditing experience is an added advantage.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
