One of our clients, a leading global provider of telecommunications and information technology solutions, is looking to hire an Account Manager/Sales professional. The company operates in over 90 countries and is a major player in optical communications, broadband access, and telecom solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales and profit targets assigned by the company, along with other key performance indicators related to the account manager role.
- Drive market expansion and brand promotion in Nigeria, identifying and exploring new project opportunities.
- Gather customer requirements and collaborate with the product team to develop tailored solutions for target customers.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in telecom operators and enterprise clients, ensuring effective engagement throughout the bidding and sales process.
- Oversee contract negotiations, ensure timely payment collections, and manage the full sales cycle for assigned accounts.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- At least three (3) years of experience in product/service sales within the Nigerian telecom industry, preferably working with major telecom operators.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Ability to work proactively, handle pressure, and demonstrate innovative approaches in customer engagement.
- Proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
- Based in Lagos, Nigeria, with the flexibility to travel to other regions as needed.
