Mission:
- Manage mobile devices in trade end to end to improve gross activation and connections, ensure security and optimization of devices to derive values for swift returns on investment.
- Manage devices, endpoint journeys, and inventory to ensure accurate and proper accountability of devices for operational efficiencies.
Description:
- Create a holistic picture of each project to provide context for the findings, and implement procedures as required to perform technology, security, and networks audits.
- Manage devices in trade with the Mobile Device Management application tool to ensure seamless operation in the field.
- Manage software and hardware engineers performance through incident management tickets.
- Oversee device lifecycle management with a spotlight on devices journey touchpoints and inventory.
- Manage device audits in the field and warehouse and ensure operational efficiencies.
- Ensure devices with end of life and support are replaced as and when due to ensure business continuity.
- Drive Opex and Capex of channel devices for effective cost optimization.
- Follow up on the implementation of software patches and updates recommendations in a timely manner.
- Communicate and provide directions for engineers in the fields to meet business KPIs.
- Ensure APK and SDK are standardized before deployment to avoid bug issues in the field.
- Document devices purchase date, end of life, and replacement handy and in a timely manner for operational efficiency.
- Assist agents, sales reps, and CAC analysts to fulfill their requests for daily operational tasks.
- Check, verify, and implement standardized methodologies to avoid stolen devices in trade.
- Review security policies as administrators for devices in trade.
- Review and advise on device specifications to other users in the business.
- Support the Senior Manager - Cyber Security and IT Assurance in coordinating with the external auditors where needed and facilitate their fieldwork within MTN.
- Coordinate and supervise devices management and inventory.
Education:
- First degree in Computer Science, Electrical Electronics or related discipline
- Fluent in English
Experience:
3-7 years of experience, which includes
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an area of specialization with experience in supervising others
- Experience working in a medium organization.
- Experience in device management
