Job Overview




  • The Spare Parts Inventory Asst. Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of the spare parts inventory, ensuring that stock levels are maintained, accurate, and aligned with the company's operational needs. 

  • This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team while ensuring that spare parts are available when needed to meet business demands.



Key Responsibilities




  • Supervise and manage daily spare parts inventory operations, including stock monitoring, ordering, and replenishment.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems and ensure proper documentation.

  • Manage and lead a team of inventory associates, providing guidance, training, and support.

  • Perform regular stock audits and reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracy.

  • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Procurement, Maintenance, and Sales) to anticipate spare parts requirements.

  • Oversee the timely receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming spare parts to ensure quality and quantity accuracy.

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize waste or overstocking.

  • Monitor and analyze inventory trends, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

  • Monitor trends of product receipt and dispatch at the stores to provide basis for demand forecasting.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to inventory and spare parts management.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (3 years minimum) in a similar role, preferably in a motorcycle manufacturing industry, with a strong understanding of Store & Inventory Management.

  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).

  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in inventory tracking.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to meet deadlines.
