Responsibilities




  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets within assigned retail channels.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential retail partners.

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.

  • Develop and manage promotional activities and marketing campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.

  • Forecast sales and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability and minimize stockouts.

  • Ensure adherence to pricing policies and negotiate favorable terms with retail partners.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at retail partners.

  • Conduct regular meetings and visits to retail stores to ensure product visibility, availability, and promotional compliance.

  • Provide training and support to retail staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service.

  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by retail partners in a timely and professional manner.

  • Negotiate and manage retail agreements, including shelf space, promotional placements, and co-marketing initiatives.

  • Ensure retail partners are compliant with all company policies and procedures.

  • Track and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify areas for improvement.

  • Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and insights.

  • Utilize CRM and other sales tools to manage sales activities, track performance, and generate reports.

  • Conduct post-promotion analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and promotional activities.

  • Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams on customer preferences and market trends.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.

  • May manage a team of retail sales representatives or merchandisers, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.

  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail channel sales management, preferably in FMCG.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in retail channels.

  • Strong understanding of retail dynamics, merchandising, and promotional strategies.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in CRM and other sales management tools.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
