Job Summary
- The Lead Generator is responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities by reaching out to potential customers, qualifying leads, and nurturing relationships to support the sales team.
- The role involves researching target markets, engaging prospects through various channels, and setting up meetings or calls for the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Research: Identify and research potential leads through online sources, social media, business directories, and industry events.
- Cold Calling & Outreach: Initiate outbound calls, emails, and messages to prospective customers to introduce company products/services.
- Lead Qualification: Assess and qualify leads based on predefined criteria to ensure alignment with business goals.
- CRM Management: Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) software with accurate lead details and status.
- Follow-ups: Conduct follow-up communications to nurture leads and schedule appointments for the sales team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align lead generation strategies with business objectives.
- Reporting: Track and report lead generation performance, conversion rates, and other key metrics.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of leads generated per week/month
- Lead conversion rate (qualified leads vs. contacted leads)
- Number of appointments scheduled for the sales team
- Response rate to outreach efforts
- CRM data accuracy and management.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in lead generation, telemarketing, or sales-related roles
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Ability to conduct market research and identify potential clients
- Proficiency in CRM software and lead tracking tools
- Ability to work independently and meet targets
- Knowledge of the industry and target market is an advantage.
