  • We currently seek an experienced individual with a history of successful performance in business development, driving and developing new sales channels.



Responsibilities




  • Identify rising business opportunities

  • Expand the current coverage areas of existing markets/channels/customers

  • Creating and developing new market/sales opportunities

  • Develop a new customer base and generate strategies that grow market shares and sales

  • To assess the various information tools, identify business opportunities, scope of new product development and pinpoint bottleneck areas i.e. market information report, market threats, and competitor’s initiatives etc. to further increase sales volume, market share and profitability.

  • Intensive market research with focus on expanding the company's customer base and identifying new business opportunities within the assigned territory.

  • Devise and implement a robust and cost-effective Route-to-Market strategy for the company.

  • Develop new customer base and generate strategies that grow share of pocket, market share, and improve customers’ experience to drive growth of all product lines.



Qualificatios




  • Min of 15 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing

  • Good Understanding of the Sales Function

  • Knowledge of core Business Processes (Channel Management, Sales/Distribution, Customer Planning and Managing,

  • Knowledge of Best Practice, Market Intelligence, retail outlets universe/Channel concepts.

  • Familiarity with Food channels across Nigeria

  • Territory Management Skills (customer/outlet mapping, call/route plan, volume planning, Market Analysis).

  • You can present products and ideas with ease, confidence and persistence.

  • You are not afraid to engage in the sales process and negotiation
