Job Summary




  • We are seeking a highly experienced Project Planner / Project Control Specialist to support a critical upcoming project. 

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for project scheduling, progress monitoring, risk management, and cost control to ensure strict adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.



Responsibilities




  • Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).

  • Define project milestones, work breakdown structures (WBS), and critical path activities.

  • Ensure project timelines align with overall objectives and contractual requirements.

  • Track project progress against baseline schedules.

  • Identify schedule variances and delays, and recommend corrective actions

  • Identify potential risks and assess their impact on project timelines and costs.

  • Develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.

  • Maintain a risk register and update it regularly.

  • Monitor project expenditures and align them with approved budgets.

  • Assist in forecasting budget requirements and managing cost deviations.

  • Support project financial reporting and cost analysis.

  • Highlight key performance indicators (KPIs), risks, and schedule adjustments.

  • Facilitate meetings with project managers and senior executives to review project status.

  • Ensure all project planning and control activities meet industry standards and best practices.

  • Ensure manpower and equipment schedules align with project needs.



Requirements




  • Candidates should possess a B.Eng.



Required Skills:




  • Proficiency in project management software and budgeting tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.



Experience:




  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management with successful delivery of 3+ large-scale projects.
