Job Responsibilities:
Monitor and Manage Transactions:
- Oversee daily online payment transactions to ensure seamless processing.
- Track transaction success rates, identify failures, and implement corrective actions.
Customer and Merchant Support:
- Provide prompt and professional support to customers, merchants regarding payment-related inquiries.
- Assist merchants during the KYC (Know Your Customer) onboarding process and integration to ensure compliance and smooth setup.
Dispute Resolution & Risk Management:
- Handle chargeback disputes, fraud investigations, and reconciliation discrepancies.
- Identify and report suspicious transactions, ensuring adherence to security protocols and compliance standards.
Process Optimization & Data Analysis:
- Analyze transaction patterns and trends to optimize payment processes and minimize failures.
- Provide recommendations for system enhancements and operational improvements.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Generate and maintain detailed reports on transaction performance, chargebacks, refunds, fraud cases, and other key payment metrics.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with industry regulations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Finance, Risk, Customer Support, and IT teams to resolve payment-related issues efficiently.
Qualifications & Skills
- HND or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years in online payment operations, fintech, banking, or e-commerce.
- Knowledge of payment gateways, online banking systems and customer service.
- Ability to analyze transaction data and identify trends/issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and external coordination.
- Quick decision-making ability in resolving payment-related issues.
- High accuracy in transaction monitoring and reconciliation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic payment environment.
