- In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events that align with business objectives while ensuring a seamless client experience.
- Your focus will be on operational efficiency, revenue generation, and delivering high-quality events.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Event Officer include but are not limited to:
- Develop creative and well structured event concepts aligned with the company's brand.
- Conduct market research, gather information and negotiate contracts prior to closing any deals.
- Plan, design, and execute events while managing all project delivery elements within set timelines.
- Liaise with clients to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Organize event logistics, including venue selection, decor, catering, entertainment, guest lists, promotional materials, and equipment.
- Secure partnerships and sponsorships to enhance event value.
- Maintain high operational and service standards while minimizing damages (e.g. event utensils and equipment).
- Negotiating deals with vendors, mode of payment and ensuring product supply are quality standard and acceptable.
- Engage with potential clients through networking and outreach initiatives..
- Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Business, or a related field.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in event management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proven ability to oversee events, supervise and customer service excellence.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem solving abilities.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Creativity and attention to detail in event execution.

- Excellent cost management to actualize profitable percentage on ROI.
