Job Summary
- We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager to support our sales team, drive revenue growth, and ensure excellent customer service.
- The ideal candidate will assist in managing sales operations, developing strategies to meet targets, and overseeing a team of sales representatives.
- They will also collaborate with other departments to optimize sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve business goals.
- Monitor sales performance and suggest improvements to maximize revenue.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to market expansion.
Team Leadership & Support:
- Supervise and motivate the sales team to meet or exceed targets.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to sales representatives.
- Assist in recruiting and onboarding new sales staff.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and customers.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely manner.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Sales Reporting & Analysis:
- Track and analyze sales data, preparing reports for management.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adjust sales strategies.
- Assist in setting sales targets and KPIs.
Inventory & Product Management:
- Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure product availability.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in forecasting demand.
- Provide insights on popular products and potential slow-moving inventory.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in sales, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
