Job Brief:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating production activities to ensure efficient operation, quality output, and on-time delivery of products.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the entire production process, ensuring efficient and timely completion of orders.


2. Manage production teams, delegating tasks, providing coaching, and monitoring performance.


3. Develop and implement production schedules, adhering to quality standards and deadlines.


4. Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste.


5. Identify and manage production risks and challenges, implementing corrective actions quickly.


6. Maintain good working relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.


7. Monitor and control production costs, staying within budget constraints.


8. Conduct quality inspections to ensure product quality meets established standards.


9. Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.


10. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality.


11. Collaborate with other departments like engineering, purchasing, and quality control.


12. Keep management informed about production progress and any potential issues.


13. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technological advancements in production methods.


14. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards.


15. Be a champion for safety and promote a positive safety culture within the production team.

Requirements and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.


2. 5+ years of experience in production management or a similar role.


3. Strong understanding of production processes and quality control principles.


4. Proven ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.


5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.


6. Strong analytical and organizational skills.


7. Proficient in project management tools and production software.


8. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (preferred).


9. Ability to work independently and under pressure.
