Job Summary




  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Accountant to join our finance team. 

  • The ideal candidate will have 4 to 5 years of experience in payroll accounting and be proficient in SAP, payment gateways and interfaces, Remita, account payables, and receivables. 

  • The Payroll Accountant will be responsible for processing payroll, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and handling related financial transactions efficiently.



Key Responsibilities




  • Process payroll transactions accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.

  • Manage payroll operations, including tax deductions, pension contributions, and other statutory deductions.

  • Work with SAP and other accounting software to manage payroll records, financial transactions, and reporting.

  • Handle payment gateways and interfaces, ensuring seamless transactions and reconciliations.

  • Manage Remita payments and other electronic payment platforms for payroll processing.

  • Oversee accounts payables and receivables, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

  • Conduct payroll reconciliations and generate financial reports as required.

  • Assist in audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company financial policies.

  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.

  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws, labor laws, and financial regulations affecting payroll management.



Required Qualifications & Skills




  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree

  • 4 to 5 years of experience in payroll accounting, finance, or a related field.

  • Strong proficiency in SAP and other financial software.

  • Experience handling payment gateways, interfaces, and Remita.

  • In-depth knowledge of accounts payables and receivables processes.

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.

  • Good understanding of tax regulations, pension contributions, and labor laws related to payroll.

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
