Job Summary
As the Audit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the internal audit function, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, operational efficiency, and risk management. Your role will involve conducting audits of financial records, operational processes, and internal controls to identify areas for improvement.
Responsibilities
- Regular verification of stock of all items (consumable and otherwise) and monthly reports prepared.
- Regular reconciliation of outstanding staff loans and ensuring that they are being remitted on a monthly basis.
- Constant review to ensure that the pricing of goods and services are done properly.
- Regular review of Club’s budget as against expenditure to ensure that the budget is not exceeded, and where exceeded, approval the flag officers has been obtained.
- Undertaking any other assignment or service as may be required by the Club Manager from time to time
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIA are required.
- Minimum of 5 years of auditing experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality financial operations, including revenue audits, cost control, and compliance.
