Summary:

• We are looking for a proactive Mid-Level QA Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to enhance our software quality processes.


• You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design tests, automate workflows, and identify defects, ensuring seamless product delivery in agile environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop test plans, execute manual/automated tests (UI, API, backend), and report defects using tools like JIRA.


• Work with developers, product managers, and designers to refine requirements and validate user stories.


• Build/maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.


• Conduct regression testing and contribute to performance/load testing initiatives.


• Create detailed test cases, track metrics, and maintain QA documentation.


• Guide junior QA engineers and promote best practices.


• Stay updated on QA trends and tools; advocate for quality throughout the SDLC.


• Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., ISO, GDPR).

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors in computer science, Engineering, or related field.


• Experience: 3–5 years in QA, with expertise in both manual and automated testing.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Selenium, TestRail, JIRA, or similar tools.


• Programming knowledge (Java/Python/JavaScript).


• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab).


• Methodologies: Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.


• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to performance/security testing tools (e.g., JMeter, OWASP).


• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or mobile testing (Appium).


• ISTQB certification or API testing (Postman, Swagger).
