JOB DUTIES

Logistics and Operations Officer

• Day to day medical logistics, and ensuring samples from partner facilities parks and airport are transported to the facility, ensuring proper handling and timely delivery as required.


• Maintain the integrity of samples during transportation by following appropriate temperature and storage conditions.


• Maintain proper laboratory information systems for samples and partner centers. Deliver samples,  documents and other items to partner facilities,  clients, airport and car parks as required.


• Maintain detailed records of sample pickups and deliveries, including chain of custody documentation when necessary


• Assist in the day-to-day operational activities of the organisation, ensuring a smooth workflow.


• Ensure that the laboratory and office environments are well-organized and adequately cleaned.


• Follow all health and safety protocols while handling samples and laboratory equipment.


• Maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive documents, results, or client information.


• Provide weekly report of deliveries and pickups, and any operational challenges.


• Assist in general laboratory tasks when required.


• Perform any other duties assigned by management to support the operational efficiency of the company.
